#FridayVibes – The Joys of Motherhood
Take it from Mom… because when it comes to advice who dishes it better than her? Okay, we know, maybe you get a little more advice than you want but, seriously, who has more wisdom than Google, more intellect than Alexa, and is ready to dish it all with the dexterity of a ninja at any (and every!) minute of your life? Mom, that’s who! Who else would say things like… “Why doesn’t anyone ever appreciate that I stay up every night overthinking for them?” or “Dinner tonight has two choices on the menu, take it or leave it!” So, yes, she’s got a lot to say, and especially about motherhood! Here are some humorous lines we love…
- “You’ll know you’re a Mom when you realize WHY Mamma Bear’s porridge was cold.”
- “Just about the time you realize your Mother was right then you have a daughter and realize everything you do is wrong!”
- “It’s important to have a dog in the house so when your children grow to be teenagers someone will be happy to see you when you get home.”
- “Motherhood takes a lot of patience, humor, and wet wipes.”
- “If you want to get your children’s attention just sit on the couch and look comfortable.”
- “A mother’s day isn’t 9 to 5, it’s from when she opens her eyes to when she closes them.”
- “There will be a point in motherhood when “What did I just say” could be a threat or a genuine question.”
- “You know you’re a Mom when after a long day and you are completely done with your kids you decide to sell them on EBAY but instead, realize YOU MADE THEM so you choose ETSY instead.
We’re sure you have some great lines you heard your own mom say over the years. Remember, sooner or later we all end up quoting our mothers…
