10 “MOMolicious” Gift Ideas for Mother’s Day

Most moms have quite the collection of Mother’s Day gifts from over the years.  From aprons to funny mugs, breakfast in bed, and her all-time favorite, painted noodle necklaces. And a handmade card?  It’s a treasure! Mom knows that every show of appreciation is wonderful and heartfelt. This year, thank mom’s aching back, tired feet, worn-out hands, and even more worn-out patience with these 10 “MOMolicious” gift ideas…

  1. Whether she’s a new mom or a “young at heart” mom she will always want to look and feel her best.  And, at the top of our list is one simple gift that will help her do just that!  A simple, but gorgeous silk pillowcase is perfect for Mother’s Day (any special day really, think bridal shower, birthday, maid-of-honor gift… or just because!).  Silk pillowcases won’t erase wrinkles on your mom’s face that are already there or magically soothe all of her hair’s ills, but it can certainly help prevent adding more wrinkles all while preventing tangles to her locks. And, if your mom is of a certain age (think menopause here) she will definitely find benefit in the temperature regulation of pure, organic, natural silk. One up your siblings this year with our Sleep-On Silk Pillowcase in classic white with midnight blue piping! Mom will love it.

Mom’s are on their feet from morning to night so it’s important that she have something comfortable to put on them.  A pair of Hatch x Ace from Ked’s are just what she needs – comfy and actually oh so hip!  And we love the added touch of “mama” printed on the side with the heart printed innersoles…

  1. If your mom is worth writing a book about then do just that! The “You & Me” Mom Journal is designed to be shared between a child and their mother and becomes a record of their life shared together.  The pages are full of prompts like writing about earliest memories and wishes for the future that will create a keepsake worthy of passing down through the generations.
