Now that it’s finally feeling a little like summer we can’t contain our excitement for everything color. Nature wakes up in all it’s glory and the food on our plates is so much brighter too. Even the clothing in our closets bloom thankfully from the more somber neutrals of winter. If you love to be on trend with your closet then the 2019 New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer color palette from Pantone really sparkles.
Deep, rich and magnificent, Pantone’s spectrum of colors for spring and summer this year are wonderfully sophisticated and truly reflect this vibrant time of year. While pulling out your summer wardrobe pieces keep an eye out for these colors – we were definitely happy to find some in our own Julianna Rae Closet!
ASPEN GOLD
Yellow just shouts summer, it reminds us of summer sunsets, a festive beach towel, the pop and snap of fresh summer corn in our mouths and a bright, sweet glass of lemonade.
JESTER RED
This color is no joke! It is deep and sultry like a hot summer night. It makes us think strawberry popsicles, cherry pie, and about a walk through the rose garden with a chilled sangria in hand.
PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR – LIVING CORAL
We love this color because it is just so bright and cheerful. It makes us want to kick off our shoes and walk barefoot in the sand!
PEPPER STEM
This color shouts fresh! Like a trip to the farmers market or a walk through a cool, shaded forest. This is a perfect color for a season of renewal.
PINK PEACOCK
This dazzling color reflects all of what sizzles about summer.
PRINCESS BLUE
This shade of blue shimmers like a jewel! We want to wear it to bed on a starry night or during the day for a splash of color in the office.
SWEET LILAC
This shade of pink infused lavender is so perfect for summer. Sweet like a pastry or dreamy like a dawn sky, although soft, it is definitely feminine and strong at the same time!
